What is Sustainabuild Breakfast Club-Webinar

Sustainabuild Breakfast Club-Webinars bring together sustainability-driven professionals from across the built environment for an hour of learning with industry leaders and peers.

The theme for our webinar is, 'Financing Net Zero in the buiilt environment'.

What to expect?

During this 1-hour webinar we will hear from three expert speakers sharing complementary expertise and insight as they deliver accessible talks on our theme. We'll then have an audience Q&A where attendees will have the chance to pose their questions to our experts.

Key talking points:

Mary Kerr, Glasgow City Council Lead for Climate Finance will be share Insights on Glasgow’s Climate Investment Model, Delivery Vehicles, and Mobilising Private Sector Investment.

Anne Johnstone, Head of ESG at Vital Energi will outline the importance of innovative financial solutions, such as green bonds and sustainability-linked loans, to funding energy efficiency and renewable energy projects showcasing specific examples such as Queens Quay, Leeds PIPES and their EfW plant at Drakelow.

Chloe Timperley, Green Mortgage Campaign Lead with Green Finance Institute will explore innovative financial mechanisms such as Blended Finance, Property Linked Finance, and Local Climate Bonds.
